At YBR Inc. our primary focus is Oracle Data Warehouse design, development and implementation. We will tackle design of any type of application but prefer Data Warehouse initiatives. We also do other IT initiatives but only in the correct situations.
Consulting
Application design –Data Warehouse or OLTP applications can be designed to
be implemented by YBR or handed off to your own delivery team. “C” level executive participation is expected and will be mandatory for any project that will be deemed an ERP application.
Application development – Development can be performed by our consultants or in conjunction with your staff. Development by other consulting companies can be managed by YBR, but co-development is not possible. This can be explained in writing for serious clients.
Application implementation – Application implementation can be performed with adherence to YBR Inc. rules and policies for testing, sign off and approvals.
Application Audit – This service is performed to provide a document of findings of existing applications. This service may be performed for security purposes, design documentation for new initiatives or for “audit” satisfaction purposes.
Staff augmentation – YBR, Inc. can perform this type of assistance. Not what we seek to do and your company can find much less expensive consultants than those that are employed by YBR, Inc. for this purpose.
RFP generation – Documentation that can be utilized for a Request for Proposal can be provided on a contract basis for some types of projects. YBR Inc. will not engage to participate in any activity where our experience and expertise cannot be an asset to our client.
Efficiency audits – YBR Inc. will monitor, observe, review and document what your IT staff can do to be more cost effective within your business. This type of audit requires the complete cooperation of all levels of your IT staff. This audit would be utilized for staff weakness or strengths. The detail of the documents delivered is directly proportional to the time allocated for this audit.
Project Management - YBR Inc will perform or participate in project management for specific types of IT projects. This is determined on a case by case basis. Project plans or project outlines are required for a determination to be made.
Discoverer
Audits – Review your Oracle Discoverer security, Business Areas, all EULs, workbooks and other infrastructure. This will produce a document outlining strengths and weaknesses of your implementation. This document will address staff skill, code, design, suggested improvements and immediate needs. All information would be specifically addressing shortcomings/high lights within your organization’s implementation of Oracle Discoverer.
Oracle Discoverer Remote Administration (RMA) – This service is designed for small Oracle shops where a fulltime Oracle Discoverer Business System Administrator is not required. Full Discoverer Administration can be offered on a time allocated basis. Workbook development can also be performed with proper documented specifications.
Oracle Discoverer Implementation – This service is offered but only if on site staff is available to receive training and knowledge transfer. Oracle Discoverer is the same as implementation of any application. It takes planning, staffing requirements and an implementation plan. The continued maintenance and staffing is also required.
Oracle Discoverer Training – On site Oracle Discoverer Training can be delivered for any type of Discoverer implementation. This training must be custom developed for each client. Generic Oracle Discoverer Training is also offered that does not require custom development time. This training illustrates to the user community the power and features of Oracle Discoverer. Training is offered only on fully implemented Oracle Discoverer applications.
Custom Developed Training – Training on any application and subject matter can be developed and delivered to your staff. The training cost is directly proportional to the complexity of the application where training will be developed and delivered.
